We are Evgenia and Giorgos, and we live permanently in the picturesque village of Fourni in Eastern Crete. We have always believed that our homeland possesses a beauty that goes far beyond what has been traditionally advertised about our island.
Beyond the sun and the sea, Crete hides an authentic hinterland, with a slow pace of life and images that remain untouched by time. We chose to showcase this side of Crete through horseback riding.
For us, a tour on horseback is the most fitting way to wander through the trails of our region.

We invite you to discover the traditions and flavors of our land through two unique, hands-on experiences.
Step into the world of traditional beekeeping and cheese-making. Meet the locals, uncover the secrets of our traditional products, and share authentic moments of everyday life in the countryside.

HORSEBACK RIDING & BEEKEEPING
Enjoy the pristine Cretan nature on horseback, crossing lush olive groves and ancient paths, and experience honey production by a local beekeeper! We will stop at Mr. Antonis’s apiary, where we will discover the stages of honey production, learn how to spot the queen bee, and taste fresh honey and honeycomb.
HORSEBACK RIDING & CHEESE MAKING
Through this experience, visitors have the unique chance to learn about the oldest occupation of Crete: cheese making. Our horses will take you to the place where the shepherd will have the milk ready. You will learn all the secrets of making the cheese and you will try it when it’s ready! The experience concludes with a traditional meal full of authentic Cretan flavors.
